He said the takeover by the security operatives was a gross violation of the constitutional order, rule of law and all accepted notions of law and order.

Security officials had on Tuesday Morning Stormed the Premises of the National Assembly barricading the entrance to the complex.

Lawmakers and members of staff of the NASS were prevented from entering the premises.

The Acting President in a statement through his spokesman, Laolu Akande, described the act as unacceptable.

“It is condemnable and completely unacceptable”.

He assured Nigerians that all persons within the law enforcement apparatus who participated in this travesty will be identified and subjected to appropriate disciplinary action.
