Nigeria vs Argentina: See Nigerians Predictions

My fingers are crossed and I am looking forward to a good game, and hopefully if Eagles play the way they did against Iceland, I think we are going to put up a good game against the Argentines, even with Messi. He hasn’t been a threat in the games he’s played so far.  My prediction is Nigeria 1, Argentina 0.

Ifeanyi Emeka, car dealer, Asaba, Delta State

I am praying for the Eagles to beat Argentina because we don’t need a draw. I don’t want the coach to use Brian Idowu, he is not a playmaker. Rather, the coach should stick with the players he used for the Iceland game, especially the introduction of Kelechi Iheanacho.  Eagles will win 3-0.

Jawon Ola, factory worker, Ekiti State

I pray for the Eagles to win. Despite the fact that Argentina didn’t do well in their first two games, they can pick up but I pray the Eagles triumph Tuesday. If we can have the three points, I will be excited. Predict? It is dicey but I’m just hopeful.

Ola, civil servant, Ogun State

No one gave the Eagles any chance against Iceland but they proved themselves. We want that momentum to continue against Argentina, who will be under pressure to win. We played a friendly match with the Argentines and the Eagles beat them  4-2. In this game they are going to come out strongly, they need a win to qualify but I believe the Eagles will win 2-0.

Olayinka,  Ibafo resident, Ogun State

I’m looking forward to the Eagles beating Argentina and qualifying for the next round.  The  formation the Nigeria coach used against Iceland is perfect.  If the coach uses the players he used against Iceland, I foresee a 2-1 victory for Nigeria.

Oluwaseun Ajala, barber, Ibafo, Ogun State

No one saw the win against Iceland coming. Against Iceland, our players played to win.  We are not scared; we should forget about Messi, he is not doing anything for now. Eagles are moving up. Eagles are bringing the cup to Nigeria, I saw it in my dream.

Badmos, Bricklayer, Magboro, Ogun State

If they apply the same spirit the way they did against Iceland with togetherness and team work, I believe the match against Argentina will yield good results for us.
