Quadri, who joined Sporting two seasons ago, has been instrumental in the team’s dominance of the Portuguese League. He also helped the club become the first Portuguese team to feature in the European Table Tennis Union Champions League – making it to the quarterfinal of the championship.

The 29-year-old said the win would help the team’s confidence ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal tie later in the week.
