Yeloto African Children Foundation visits South Africa

In expanding the frontiers of its support for African Children, Yeloto African Children Foundation has donated hearing aids to 2 students of West Rand School in the Republic of South Africa to aid their learning experience.

The event took place recently at Medical Center in Guateng, Johannesburg, South Africa. The speech therapist & audiologist who performed the fitting for the children was in person of Clementine Phale. The beneficiaries of the hearing aids were Siyabonga Buku an 8-year-old and Thamsanqa Khumalo a 14-year-old boy.

In his remarks, Yeloto Founder, Dr. Oluyemi Olawaiye pointed out that “The beneficiaries and their families were very happy about the Yeloto’s gesture as the donation will improve the learning experience of both children and their chances at a great future would go several notches higher.

The organization also took the opportunity to an Orphanage in visit in Soweto, where food, drinks, clothing, stationeries and other relevant items were donated to Orlando Children’s Home and Creche in order to improve the living conditions of the children.

Mr Kevin Onuoka and his wife Keabetwe Onyekachi were the host of the Yeloto representatives in South Africa.

It was an amazing experience according to the Founder of Yeloto African Children Foundation. Dr. Oluyemi Olawaiye who also said that more needed to be done to support the growth & development of African Children, therefore called for assistance from corporate organizations, high net-worth individuals and charity enthusiasts.

YELOTO was created in 2011 by Dr. Oluyemi Olawaiye, Pharm,D, with the support of his wife Dr. Regine Bruny-Olawaiye, MD/MBA.
